DPR recording was established in1997. Noodles also known as groovechronicles has been actively involved in the music industry for the last 21 years and has worked in some of London’s leading records shops.

Friend to DJ’s and record labels he gained a reputation with customers for his musical knowledge, Whilst at work he was able to listen to various musical styles that inspired his future works.
Noodles started producing his own style of music, which he then released on his own label DPR.

DPR released innovative/ experimental music in the early ukg/2step scene.
The labels minimal electronic dub music sound or (EDM) became very popular with DJ’s, later the sound filtered off in another direction.
A new genre of music called DUBSTEP (based around ukg/2step’s more heavier bass sound), with producers such as Steve Gurley, Zed bias, Jeremy Sylvester, MJ Cole, Sun ship, Wookie and Mike Millrain amongst others.
With earlier heavy weight productions being dropped in new club nights by new breed of producers and djs i.e. Benga, hatcha, kode 9,skream (FWD being the first one) to eager waiting dub heads wanting to hear something different, the sound of DUBSTEP was created, and DPR became recognized as being the first EDM/ DUBSTEP label and has support from many DJ’s worldwide

Fast forward to 2008; noodles is currently working on new material with a NEW forth coming ep [i]dub “ It’s been a long time coming” says noodles “ just doing what inspires me”
And with some new signing it’s going to interesting time for DPR.
